Galatians 6:10 – 20
Dear Lord,
So many thoughts are running through my mind as I read your Word about the armor of God today. And all my thoughts are about the future and the questions I have about it – where will I live, at what point will I be physically whole again, what job path should I pursue, and what is going to happen with my dating life.

And Lord I praise you that you stopped these thoughts in their tracks. I praise you that while your Word is relevant to the questions I have regarding my future, you have shown me numerous times that you hold my future in your hands. I have nothing to worry about when it comes to tomorrow or next month or years down the road. You have also shown me that your presence in the here-and now is worth more than the entire world (if it were offered to me).

So, my prayer, Lord, is you will help me stand against the schemes of the devil today. That today, I will have a readiness given by the gospel of peace, and have that peace knowing that my accomplishment of readiness isn’t found in how many people I encounter through a job but in my faithfulness to you when you send people my way.

Lord, help me be equipped with Truth, Righteousness, Faith, and Salvation, – all of these which will cover me and protect me; yet also give me Your Spirit which will give me Power and Might to fight, against the evil that comes my way today. And Lord, I know that it will come tomorrow, too; but I know that through prayer and your Word, you will again supply me with the Armor that I need to fight another day, for through Jesus Christ, I know that victory is already mine.
